GINGERBREAD HOUSES!!

Parents! The following letter went home yesterday in purple folders. We will be making Gingerbread houses on Friday and would really appreciate some supply donations! Please send any donations in with your kiddo by Thursday, December 1st.

GOBBLE GOBBLE! Pictures from our Thanksgiving unit!

The kids had such a great time making their turkey placemats!

The "Tom Turkeys" that were sent home from homework turned out so cute! We had turkeys disguised as everything from Cleoptra, to an Easter Basket! Thanks for participating and taking time to do something fun with your amazing Kindergarteners!

SPIDERS SPIDERS EVERYWHERE!

At the beginning of November we did a unit on SPIDERS!

Check out some of the pictures of activities we did:

Students played a MORE or LESS game with plastic spiders and spider webs!

Our Asbury Practicum student (Ms. Lindsey) helped students play a "One More" and "One Less" game with dice, counting mats, and REAL candy corn! YUM!

Students counted spiders on spider webs and matched them to corresponding numbered spiders at Ms. Kandice's Math Worskhop :)

How cute are these "Itsy Bitsy Spiders" They are coming home soon! We made them by painting our hands with black paint and stamping them on paper. Then, we added googly eyes!

This was part of an Itsy Bitsy Spider story retelling activity. Students added spiders and spouts to their houses.

COMMUNITY HELPERS!

Community Helpers Day was a success! Thanks to all of the wonderful parents who sent in materials for our Fire Truck snacks and helped their kiddos with their Community Helper costumes. Here are some pictures of some of the best looking community helpers I have every seen. Some of these are taken in the gym at the parade, and some of them are of making Fire Truck cookies. :)
