MEET PUMPKIN JACK!
On Friday, at the end of our Pumpkin Unit, we began a fun science experiment to study the life cycle of a pumpkin.
We read the book: Pumpkin Jack by, Will Hubbell
We cut open a pumpkin and all of my friends got to help scoop out the guts...with our FINGERS!
Then, We carved a Jack 'O' Lantern face.
Then, we put "Pumpkin Jack" in a large tub filled with potting soil.
Over the next couple of weeks we are going to observe Pumpkin Jack and draw pictures of the changes in our Jack O' Lantern.
